About the Presenters
Dr. Lina Dostilio
Dr. Lina Dostilio is the lead facilitator of the Peer Development Network for the Carnegie Community Engagement Classification. She will be convening participants, facilitating webinars, supporting the peer support institute facilitators, and managing the overall series content. Lina is the director of Academic Community Engagement at Duquesne University and is part time faculty within the Professional Doctorate on Educational Leadership in the Department of Educational Foundations and Leadership. She also serves as the vice-chair of the International Association for Research on Service-Learning and Community Engagement.
Dr. John Saltmarsh
Dr. John Saltmarsh is the Co-Director of the New England Resource Center for Higher Education (NERCHE) at the University of Massachusetts, Boston as well as a faculty member in the Higher Education Administration Doctoral Program in the Department of Leadership in Education in the College of Education and Human Development. He leads the project in which NERCHE serves as the administrative partner with the Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching for Carnegie’s elective Community Engagement Classification. Dr. Barbara A. Holland
Dr. Barbara A. Holland is internationally recognized for her research, consulting, and leadership work regarding community engagement and organizational change in higher education. Currently, she is working with a diverse array of institution-specific and national/international-scale projects aimed at integrating community engagement more deeply into institutional strategy and developing effective approaches to capturing impact data for all constituencies. She resides in Portland, Oregon.
